Dad died on 1 April 2013 after a short illness, he had had a full, busy and happy life. He was 87.  For the last 30 years he had increasing problems with his hearing, at the end of his life he was completely deaf. The frustration this caused him and us was immense! As he grew older he felt increasingly frustrated that people assumed he was unable to comprehend when in fact he couldn't hear. He said that it was the invisible disability and that people should wear badges "I'm not stupid just deaf". Please help action on hearing loss to continue their work  in supporting people with hearing loss and helping to make their lives easier. Liz and Helen
