I aim to complete one sponsored challenge each year.  Last year was
a walk across Morecombe Bay for the Parkinsons' Society.  This year I'm walking 13 miles on a Moonlight and Memories Walk.  We set off at 10pm on Sat. June 7th and finish in the wee small hours of Sunday June 8th. 

St Catherine's is known as the 'local hospice' because it's an independent charity, established and funded by local people since 1985.  It surrently costs around £5 a year to run the hospice, with less than 30% coming via the NHS.  The hospice helps people with incurable illnesses to live as independently as possible.
