Our lovely Dad John GRAHAM (known as Farmer John to his bike trials world) received a cancer diagnosis when he was in Hexham Hospital mid November 2020.

He was determined to come home, for what turned out to be his final two weeks. We as a family felt without question that we wanted to care for him at home, or he may have had to spend this treasured time alone due to COVID restrictions.

Dad was a strong determined man throughout his 90 years, and continued to be so in an attempt to fight this terrible illness.  Our family could not have cared for him without the help of qualified nurses from Tynedale Hospice at Home, who stayed with our Dad overnight, and were on hand to give medication when required.

If we can assist in getting this help for other families in the future, then we feel we are "giving something back" to this wonderful charity.
