Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Nearly 3 months ago, I lost my wonderful dad to pancreatic cancer. The last 12 days of his life were spent in the Heart of Kent Hospice in Maidstone, where he was cared for by an incredibly compassionate and kindhearted team of people. It is an amazing hospice, full of amazing people - a very humbling place to visit. Every year, the Heart of Kent Hospice has to raise over £2.5m itself to continue providing the care and support it offers to patients and their families.
I'm taking part in a 10 mile Moonlit Walk, organised by the hospice, during the night of September 22nd, along with my sister Fiona and good friends Nicola and Jane. We will be walking (in our jammies!) in memory of my dad, Ken MacKenzie. Please support the hospice by donating anything you can - words cannot describe the fantastic work they do.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
