Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In July 2010 my lovely Mum was diagnosed with a rare type of Ovarian Cancer. She had to have major surgery and then a course of chemotherapy. As a result of the chemotherapy she lost her hair, and I thought that I would investigate having my hair cut off and made into a wig for her.
Unfortunately it is not that simple and my hair was not long enough. However I discovered that if I grew it I could donate it to The Little Pricess Trust, a charity in Herefordshire that makes and gives wigs to children having chemotherapy. I am having my hair cut on Monday 12th December and I will post a picture to prove that I didn't chicken out!!
I would love to raise some money for The Eve Appeal who work tirelessly to raise awareness of all gynaelogical cancers and fund research into them. I would be grateful for any donations, no matter how small! If you would rather not donate online I am happy to accept any donations 'offline' too .
Thankfully, my lovely Mum is now in remission, and long may that continue xx
