I am running the Manchester half marathon this year (my first running event for a decade!) I am using this opportunity to raise money for our company sponsored charity Marudyan UK. 

ADP have supported Marudyan since our initial trips to India to open our Delhi Studio. Marudyan are committed to helping below poverty line children in India get an education. We have been helping them since and our support has helped build a school in Gugauan and a hostel in Orrissa. Our continued commitment means we can help to run these schools and the hostel providing staff and material costs. Along side this the funiding will increase the number of children being supported. . Our support goes directly to the children who need it.

The hostel was designed by our Delhi studio and funded by the charity, opened earlier this year. The hostel is the first Marudyan project of its kind, and will go some way towards addressing the severe disadvantages faced by children of Indian hill tribes.
Many of these tribes are overlooked or persecuted as a minority population, and live too far from local schools to make the journey every day. The Marudyan Hostel will allow these children to attend established schools in Raikia; the site is also large enough for external sports and recreation activities.
