In memory of Lochlan Russell

Story

At the beginning of August we lost our handsome little boy Lochlan when he was just 4 and a half months old. Lochlan was born with conjenital heart disease and had open heart surgery at just 9 weeks old. Unfortunately Lochlan's heart defect was very complex and as a result he lost his fight with the disease. The loss of Lochlan was devistating for his family but we have decided to try and raise as much money as we can to help other children like Lochlan and support their families when they most need it. The Scottish Association for Children with Heart Defects supports children and families who are living with this disease and supports them emotionally and financially as well as raising funds to help buy equipment.

About the charity

We offer support and understanding in everyday care and welfare to parents and families of children with heart disorders. We help fund research, equipment for hospitals and homes, and family support grants as well as providing weekend breaks for young adult, teenage and family groups.
