Story

Helen and John met the night of Strictly 2014, but let's face it neither of them can remember that particularly well. So fast-forward... and a partnership that started (and witnesses say really should have ended) with a Beyoncé dance-off on the dancefloor of the CFI Christmas Party may be only just the beginning...... #DreamTeam

Helen has had a glittering dancing career - covering ballet, tap and even multiple-award-winning highland dancing (her Highland Fling at the Prescott Highland Games is still talked about today - although possibly only by her).

Well known for his impressive Jeté and his (frankly much less useful in this context) ability to pick up a playing card from the floor using only his teeth, John is hoping to add to his extensive trophy case (which is currently full to the brim with awards for his performances in Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Showgirls).

Helen and John are fundraising for Julian House, a charity that helps vulnerable and disadvantaged men and women, including the homeless and victims of domestic abuse. Julian House gives people specialist support to enable them to improve their life choices and chances, and live a better quality of life. Please help Helen and John to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic cause!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Welcome to John and Helen's Strictly journey!
