As you will already be aware I will be cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats on the Deloitte Ride Across Britain http://www.rideacrossbritain.com/the-route/ starting on 5 September and finishing on 13 September. To give you some idea of the challenge this equates to 966 miles and 50,000 feet of climbing.

A large portion of my entry fee, which I have already paid, helps raise funds for the British Paralympic Association, which is a very worthwhile cause. However I would like to support a local charity as well. 11 years ago I had cancer and have therefore chosen to raise funds for Guernsey Cancer Support, which provides invaluable support and equipment to cancer sufferers and their families in Guernsey.
