Verity: On October 8^th we will be running the Oxford Half to raise money for Sobell House. The Hospice took wonderful care of my mum earlier this year and I will always be grateful to them for the support they gave us during an unimaginably difficult time. The Hospice was built in the 70s with funds raised by the local community and still relies on these donations today. Any money you can give will go towards providing end of life care to patients in a warm and welcoming environment. 

Helena: Sobell House hospice helped and supported a very good friend’s mum when she passed away from breast cancer at the start of this year. Given that I’m still on crutches for at least another week, I only have 10 weeks to get up to marathon fitness (and hopefully not go straight back on crutches) so this is a BIG challenge!
