Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running in memory of my Grandpa Ted and Cousin Jenny who tragically lost their lives to this awful disease. My family give a lot of their time fundraising with the Milton Keynes Branch and it has inspired me to do my bit in raising awareness and money for research and finding a cure.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones.
Degeneration of the motor neurones leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing.

Please please help by giving as little or as much as you can.

Thank you,

Helena
