In November 2010 I woke up deaf due to aggressive hearing loss. 

Action on Hearing Loss, provided me with invaluable support on how to come to terms with my loss; on how to overcome it and continue to live my life independently. Even if, at some point, I tried to kill myself. 

This charity is working hard on researching a cure for hearing loss and deafness. All the money donated on this page, will go towards that research. 

Imagine waking up one day and there's no music; no laughter ... Just silence. 

Together we can fight this from happening to others.
