On behalf of the entire Hell Runner team we would like to say a massive THANK YOU to every single person who donated to this cause. Each and every pound is appreciated by all of us as well as the Leeds MIND team who are overjoyed with the amount we've raised.

I think most of the team would agree it was a very tough physical challenge, the hills were steep, the bogs were cold and the terrain was slippy, but we got through it. I've added some pictures to the site for people to view.

A message from Marcus and his Hell Runner team:

"A few months have passed since our world got flipped upside down by the passing of Maud Stockwell.

Whilst we continue to battle the hurt associated with this devastating loss we wanted to try do something positive for Maud's legacy and to help others who may find themselves in similar situations.

And so, a group of friends and I are choosing to torture ourselves physically for the day by running the Rat Race "Hell Up North" Hell Runner on October 12th - https://ratracehellrunner.co.uk/hell-up-north/

13 miles of hills, bogs and freezing lakes all for our running pleasure, the proceeds of which will be going to a cause that has become incredibly close to my heart - Leeds Mind (https://www.leedsmind.org.uk/). 

They do such fantastic work in the fight against mental health but there is still so much to do and their funding is still critically short. 

We’re also joining forces with a team of fearless ladies who are running the Hell Runner Half, no mean feat in itself either!

Me, and my fellow Hell Runners would be forever grateful if you could support us in providing for this great charity who have already been a fantastic support to me over the last few months
