If you know me, you know that I always like to try new things. Going backwards in a rowing boat and on flat water is great but after 35 years not the most thrilling thing anymore. Since my childhood I always wanted to sail across the Atlantic – so why not now and for a good cause.

I have the privilege to work with awesome children every week but at the same time about 1 in 5 children in the U.S. have to go to school hungry at some point during their school year (food insecurity). Worldwide every second a child dies from under-nutrition. In the 50 seconds you need to read this blurb 50 children will die.

This should be reason enough to give generously to help children worldwide (via UNICEF UK) and: for every Dollar donated I will do 1 push-up while crossing the Atlantic!
