The MND Association focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. If you or a loved one need practical or emotional support, call our Connect Helpline on 0808 802 6262, Mon to Fri between 9am and 4pm.

Story

The Challenge: to climb to the top of all 15 peaks over 3000 ft. in Wales within the space of just 24 hours without any form of transport.

In total we will be walking and scrambling around 30 miles, ascending over 14,000 feet, across the demanding and exposed terrain of the three Welsh mountain groups of Snowdon, the Glyders and the Carneddau, all for the MND Association.

Motor Neurone Disease is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease that attacks the nerves that control movement so muscles no longer work. MND affects around 5000 in the UK at any one time. It kills a third of people within a year and more than half within two years of diagnosis.

The Motor Neurone Disease Association supports people living with MND, their families and carers. For everyone facing this devastating disease there is "No Time to Wait". You will provide vital funding for their care centre, voice banking and research programmes - it will change thousands of lives for years to come.

Please help us to support this worthy cause!
