Story

I have always wanted to raise money for the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust and finally I am. The Trust was set up in 1998 in memory of Charlie who committed suicide whilst suffering from depression. His family and friends formed the Trust to raise awareness of depression, reduce the stigma attached to seeking help and to ensure help was available when needed. By raising funds in Charlie's memory the Trust has developed into a training and campaigning organisation which seeks to deliver free depression training to GPs and their staff, the public, school staff and nurses, and students. There is a lot more information on their website.

Having been in New York for 10 years, I have entered the lottery for a marathon place each year, and in 2011 I have been successful.....

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page.
