Over 3 tough days (7th-10th June) I will take part in the Maidwell Hall Leavers Walk. My school year group and I will walk 55 miles of rugged Pembrokeshire coastline. We will cross headlands, coves and cliff-tops in spectacular but challenging terrain. We will camp overnight and cook our own suppers on stoves. It will be a great challenge - but very rewarding.
This is all for our chosen charity "Schoolreaders". Did you know 1 in 4 children leave primary school unable to read? It makes their life after primary school and chance of doing well really difficult. Schoolreaders is very simple. It sets out to improve children's lives by providing volunteers, for free, to give one-to-one reading practice. It costs just £15 to provide 1 child with a weekly reading session. These sessions really help children improve their reading.
This is a great charity and I really want to try and raise as much money as possible. I hope you can support me.
Thank you. Henry
