No-one would deny I am a little porky. It's not good for my health, my figure or my self image. And when I think of how many millions around the world don't have enough to eat, the fact that I have taken more than my share weighs heavy on me (no pun intended.)

On Friday June 15th, 2018 I joined Slimming World and by Christmas 2018 I had lost s stone (42 pounds). Now I'd like to lose the same again by December 20th 2019. What better way to motivate myself and spread the benefits of my weight loss than by using every pound I lose to help children who don't have enough to eat? 

World In Need runs a feeding programme in schools in Kenya and DR Congo. Every £5 given to the feeding programme allows them to feed two children a nutritious meal every day for a month. 

I'd like to raise £10 for every pound of my next three stones. That's £420, which would take the total raised to a massive £660!
