This year, in April 26th, five of us Hilton team members will be embarking on a new ultimate challenge, the UTMF 2013 !

 

Veteran racers, Andreas Boettger, Andrew Perkins, Grant Pithie, Philippe Kronberg and Stephen Russell, will be running/walking/crawling/climbing 161kms on and around Mount Fuji in Japan during the Ultra Trail Marathon in, hopefully, less than 46 hours. In the process, we are hoping to raise donations for Room to Read.

 

Since 2011, Hilton Worldwide in Asia Pacific has pledged its support as hotel industry partner of Room to Read – an entrepreneurial and global organization working in 10 countries across Asia and Africa, which seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in the developing world by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education. This partnership with Room to Read brings to life Hilton Worldwide's corporate responsibility strategy, Travel with Purpose, by creating opportunities for young people through a holistic education and school library program.
