Walking the river lea · 6 July 2019

Herts Young Homeless (hyh) focus is on preventing youth homelessness. Our services include education in schools, family mediation and supporting 16-24 year olds in their first homes. We empower young people to be able to deal with difficult situations in their lives and ultimately find stability.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. We have decided to take on the challenge of walking the River Lea from its source in Luton to the mouth of the river on the Thames in London. This 53 mile trek will take us through Hertfordshire and will (hopefully!) be completed in 2 days!

We will be raising money to support Herts Young Homeless. A great charity based in Hatfield, under a mile away from the River Lea. They help support young people, aged from 16 to 24, who are both homeless or being threatened with homelessness. They also have a health service for the homeless that has no age limit.

It would be great if you could support us in our challenge and help us to raise as much money as possible for this great charity!
