Cancer in children & young people (aged 0–24) is different to cancer in adults – from the types of cancer, to the impact of treatment & the long-term side effects survivors often experience. Through research we’re determined to overcome some of the different challenges these cancers present.

Story

My name is Brooke and I am 10 years old.  I have decided that I would like to shave my hair and donate it to the Little Princess Trust.  This charity provides children who are suffering with cancer with wigs. My hair is very long and I think a little girl or boy with cancer would benefit ,more than me from my long locks.

I am also fundraising for Cancer Research UK kids & teens.  I am hoping to raise £500 to help find a cure for cancer.  It makes me very sad that children have to deal with cancer so I would like to help.

I am having my head shaved in the local pub.  Feel free to come along and watch! :)

Thank you so much for looking at my page.
