This is the first time I have participated in the Annual Ride and Stride event; hitherto, I have sponsored others and waved them off in admiration, but now it is my turn!   I am the Membership Secretary of the Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust and for the past fifty years, this organisation has awarded grants to beautiful churches and places of worship, of all denominations, in the county.  Half of what I raise will go towards my local church, St Michael and All Angels and half to the Trust.
