Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have always wanted to take part in the Great North Run, ever since I moved to Newcastle nearly 10 years ago, so I know it's about time to do so! I am taking part, partly because it's a massive achievement but mainly to do something rewarding by raising money for charity.
When I was younger I was a member of St John Ambulance and attended local events in order to be there to help if anything happened. Luckily I was never required to use first aid on anybody but there are times where fully trained first aiders are required in order to save lives. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid, so that they can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.
Both myself and Lee have taken up training in the past by this wonderful charity and therefore it means alot to both of us. Your donations can help raise money to train more people in communities, schools and workplaces, can help to provide first aid at public events, to help Community First Reponders provide care until an ambulance arrives, to provide patient transport or help provide back up to local ambulance services during local major emergencies.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
