Many of you will know that I've competed in quite a few regional Half Marathons over the last few years. It's time to step up a gear or two and try a new challenge. It will be tough, transitioning from 13 mile runs to a whopping 30 miles, but with a strong training routine already in place - I know I can do it. 

The Mendip Marauder is a small off-road race that takes place every year, starting in Wells, then traversing the Mendip Hills, with a finish in Weston-Super-Mare. I've cycled sections of the Mendips, but this will be a first on foot.

It would be amazing if you'd show your support and help boost my confidence, while helping a charity that means a lot to me and my mum Linda, who received treatment at the beautiful Penny Brohn Centre near Bristol when she was recovering from ovarian cancer.
