Founded over 30 years ago, Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's
Charity improves the lives of seriously ill children and young people living with complex, lifelong and underfunded conditions, principally through establishing Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses in NHS hospitals and communities across the UK.

Today, there are currently 82 Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses caring for over 24,000 seriously ill children across the UK.

Every seriously ill child deserves a Roald Dahl Specialist Nurse to help them lead a more marvellous life so please help us help them by donating to this brilliant charity!

As part of our preparation we are running to the 12 London hospitals where these fantastic nurses are working. We will meet the Roald Dahl nurses (if they are not too busy) and bring a Marvellous Marvin (our mascot) to each of them to raise awareness for the charity!

It is truly amazing the care and support the nurses provide for children with complicated conditions and their parents. That is why any contribution will be much appreciated, as it will have a direct impact on their care. Parents have described the profound impact that Roald
Dahl Nurses have had as 'invaluable', 'professional', 'utterly vital', 'inspirational', 'amazing', 'caring', and 'indispensable’.

This will be both of our first attempt at a marathon, so any
encouragement will go a long way :)
