For those that don’t know I’m attempting to run the Paris Marathon in April.

I decided to sign up at the start of this year for a number of reasons;

1. It’s been on my bucket list for a very long time and well frankly I’m not getting any younger
2. Is there a better excuse than getting to go to Paris and eat croissants 😍
3. I wanted to set myself a goal this year that would challenge me both mentally and physically and I think a marathon will definitely do that 
4. Lastly, and most importantly I thought it would be a great opportunity to raise some funds for a very deserving charity - Age Concern Jersey - which is special to me as it has not only been a wonderful outlet and support for my amazing Yaya during a very challenging few years recovering from a stroke but also helps hundreds of elderly people on a daily basis.
