Story

A team of 13 from Holroyd Howe will be taking on the three peaks challenge, which involves climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours.

The trek will start at 5am on Saturday 2nd September and will finish the following the day.

The three mountains are: Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m) Scafell Pike in England (978m) and Snowdon in Wales (1085m)

The team consists of: Ronan Harte, Amy Roberts, Stephen Cox, Caroline Major, Matthew Went, Michael Worters, James Stacey, Bart Stachal, Nicola Pearce, Anthony Russell, Anna Fullwood, Louise Wheatley and Thomas Pass.

The Holroyd Howe Foundation raised an incredible £15,000 for Millie’s Trust last year, and this year we have an even bigger target of £25,000.

As the Three Peaks is both mentally and physically demanding, we have set ourselves a fundraising target of £10,000.

I would be very grateful if you are able to sponsor us  and help us achieve our target.

The team are raising funds for the Holroyd Howe Foundation on behalf of Millie’s Trust. Millie's Trust was established in December 2012 after Millie Thompson aged just 9 months passed away after tragically choking in nursery. Following their loss, Joanne and Dan Thompson set up Millie's Trust to provide education in First Aid for anyone that would like to work, in many cases, for free.

Every donation no matter how large or small will be greatly appreciated and I’m sure it will encourage us to keep going when times get tough!

Thank you in advance for your support, we will of course let you know how we get on after the event.
