DofE Diamond Challenge · 31 December 2016 ·

We’re more determined than ever to make sure new generations, especially young people from disadvantaged groups, can discover the power of DofE.

Story

Huddersfield Sea Cadet Staff & other volunteers are raising money for the The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Diamond Anniversary

Year by rowing 52Km, from Wakefield to Mirfield without any morrized
assistance, plus camping over night, then and rowing back to the start
point. It’s our Diamond Anniversary

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a charity that has been dedicated to helping young people give it their all

since 1956. With every challenge they take on, and every DofE Award
they work towards, young people from all walks of life have been given a chance to shine.

The DofE helps open doors and transform the lives of young people

like Emma, who was struggling to find her way in life. But as a charity,
we’re nothing without the support of people like you. Take the DofE
Diamond Challenge, raise money and you’ll give even more young people like Spencer that stepping stone they need towards a brighter future.
