Along with a number of friends we are planning to take on the worlds highest mountain and trek to Everest Base Camp for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The trek will take part from the 9th - 26th February 2012, during this time Ruth Ann will be celebrating her 56th birthday (12/02/56) whilst on the ascent to 5364m so this will be no mean feat for her. We both have dear friends who suffer from this terrible illness and i lost my father to it some years ago so this cause is very dear to us.

By taking part in this challenge, we will be helping to continue providing care and support to terminally ill people and their families who are dealing with this terrible disease. Collectively we hope to raise £100,000 we are all planning a series of events throughout the year.

We fully understand times are difficult and greatly appreciate all donations to this very worthy cause. Remember every £20 pound donated provides 1 hour of care to a single patiient.
