My son Chris has ASD and is my inspiration, he is so active and such a happy child who loves to be involved in everything he can. I can see the good work done by charities such as Autism Initiatives to make sure he has as many opportunities as possible, however these initiatives and schemes are not always cheap so if I can help raise money to keep these going I will always help. Last year Chris ran a 5k at 4 years old so I need to do something big to make him proud this year. Last year as part of my rehab for a knee injury I started cycling which did my mental health a lot of good in difficult times, I'm far from the fittest person in the world and when I start my training cycling 10k is proving difficult.
