Story

Let us introduce ourselves. I'm Kirsen and this is my French Lop, Humphrey. I adopted Humphrey from RSPCA Manchester and Salford in February 2018 and it was love at first sight ❤.

Humphrey is a breed of giant rabbit and has a personality as big as his size (he weighs a healthy 6kg!). He is also a self-confessed lazy bones, who likes nothing better than spending most of his day snoozing in a comfortable spot, and his evenings lounging by the fire!

Although not known for his speed or agility he does love a binky (for those who don't know a binky is when a rabbit leaps into the air often with a dramatic mid-air twist - and is an expression of utter joy!). Being so big Humphrey doesn't always manage to get all four paws off the ground, but he certainly tries!

To raise money for RSPCA Manchester and Salford, and taking inspiration from the late Captain Sir Tom Moore, Humphrey will be attempting to do 100 binkies between now and the end of May!

As well as being a mum to Humphrey, I am also a trustee for the Manchester and Salford branch of the RSPCA and I see first hand the wonderful work the branch does in caring for cats, rabbits and other small furries rescued by the RSPCA inspectors, rehabilitating them and ultimately finding them their furever homes (like Humphrey!).

Please donate to this wonderful cause and help Humphrey reach his goal of £100 (£1 for every binky)!! We will be posting regular photos of his progress!!

Lots of love

Kirsen & Humphrey ❤
