Child Autism UK (formerly known as Peach) is a national charity that supports and informs parents of children with autism, gives advice and advocates the use of early behavioural intervention programmes. Child Autism UK also raises awareness of autism and the benefits of early intervention.

Story

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurological development disorder that effect Imagination, Interaction and Communication. There is no cure to this condition neither a standard treatement, yet there are many ways to increase the ability of those children to learn new skils and the early intervention will help children to grow up to reach their full potential.

Peach (http://www.peach.org.uk/) is an Autism charity that not only provide information and support for parents of children with autism, but adopt one of the effective teaching methos leading provider of ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) in the UK, which examines the causes and the consequences of behaviour and develop interentions based on this information.

Autism is not a mental retardation or a lack of intelligence; as intelligence is communicated through skillful use of language, pleople with autism'ssocial and communication deficits can easliy make them appear unintelligent, which is not necessarily the case .... People with autism vary in intelligence more or less as anyone of us, only their language and social problems can make that intelligence harder to discover.

People with Autism do dance like us but to a different tune, hence if they can't learn the way we teach, we should teach the way they learn.
