Story

John o'Groats - Land's End

On September 26th I will be setting out on an adventure like no other. Joined by our challenge team members I will be running, cycling, swimming, kayaking (amongst other things) the length of the country.

Why?

As a charity, IAPWA have decided to pull together a group of adventurous and ambitious individuals who can work collectively to increase awareness of who we are, what we do and why we do it. We also hope that in taking on adventures and raising funds for us, these inspirational individuals will encourage others to go out on their own adventures, push boundaries, and hopefully raise more awareness and funds that will go directly towards helping animals around the world.

More information about IAPWA and the projects we are currently working on can be found on our website. For real time updates of what is happening day to day - you should check out our social media channels.

Why me?

As the Challenge Events Manager for IAPWA I thought I would lead by example - and take on this challenge myself. Not being an expert (by any means) in any of the disciplines, it makes sense for me to be joined by these team members as I go - and though this is likely to be pretty tough - having a number of incredible people joining me every few days should make the whole thing more enjoyable.
