This
year Charity Walk for Peace is aiming to raise funds (£50,000 over the next 3years) to build a modern state of art Masroor Eye Hospital in a sub-Saharan African country dedicated to the provision of on-going eye medical care to a people much in need apart from raising funds for 50 U.K based charities.
Millions of people in developing countries suffer from poor eye sight or even blindness because they lack decent nutrition and sanitation, glasses or access to simple surgery. In the poorest countries, up to 20 million suffer from cataract blindness and around 180 million suffer significant visual disability. Your support makes our work possible. Ansarullah U.K, a registered charity, which is committed to helping the most vulnerable people of sub-Saharan Africa. We have been organising charity walks since
1985 and have raised over a million pounds for more than 115 UK based charities
to alleviate human suffering and to provide specialised care to most vulnerable
people of the world. In the last 5 years, it has raised money to perform over 21,000 successful cataract eye surgeries to help such people behold again the beautiful colours of life.
Last year Charity
walk for Peace in London raised £360,000 which were donated to charities without
deducing any administrative charges.
I was able to raise more than £1,000 with your generous donations. This year my target is £1500. Thank you very much for your gracious donations for this noble cause.
