We are 21 co-workers and friends of IKEA Glasgow taking on the Great Scottish 10k and Half Marathon on September 29th to raise money for our national charity partner, Barnardo's. 

They have been chosen as our charity partner because of all the amazing work they do to support vulnerable young people and their families and carers. 

The partnership brings together IKEA’s focus on creating better lives at home and Barnardo’s knowledge of children and young people, with the ambition of having a positive impact on the lives of the most vulnerable children and young people in society. In Glasgow alone Barnardo's have countless services that focus on creating stronger families, safer childhoods and positive futures.

We believe every child deserves a place to call home, a healthy start in life, a quality education, the right to play and a positive future. So we want to raise as much money as possible to help Barnardo's with all the work they do in transforming the chances of some of the most vulnerable children in Glasgow and across the UK.
