The SCCMI is a national Centre providing a range of education, therapy, care and family support services to children aged 0-19 with profound and multiple learning disabilities and who are affected by neurological and life limiting conditions, including cerebral palsy and Rett syndrome.

Story

As most of you will know, my Daughter Abby has Cerebral Palsy. She recently has been supported by the Craighalbert centre, they have involved Abby in some special projects to see if they can help continue her physical development. As the centre has given us renewed hope that Abby can keep progressing, I want to give back to help others.

The Scottish Centre for Children with Motor Impairments is a centre of excellence, enabling children and young people to maximise their abilities, achieve their full potential and develop their maximum level of independence. We address the needs of the children and young people through a range of specialist and age-appropriate programmes. The focus is on what each child can do and how each child's specific abilities can be enhanced.Fundraisers help us to provide vital supports to children, young people and their families.
