Project Harar provides access to treatment, rehabilitation, and reintegration services in Ethiopia for children and young people with clefts and more complex facial disfigurements. We do this because these children and young people are at risk of stunting, malnutrition, and social exclusion.

Story

Hi - thanks for visiting my Justgiving page.

On Sunday 11th July, I'll be getting up far too early to take part in the British 10K Run. It's all for a fantastic cause: Project Harar helps children living in remote regions of Ethiopia with facial disfigurements.

Without proper care, many of the young patients would remain very poorly and face terrible stigma, with some being forced to live on the streets as a result.

Last year Project Harar reached over 475 young patients, helping them through their treatment from start to finish. Every £300 makes a lifetime's difference to a child, and gives them a fighting chance.

So please dig deep and donate now. Hope to see you on the finishing line!

Iain
