Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Us guys are not particularly good about talking about issues, let alone matters that affect us 'below the belt'. As I've grown older I've come to appreciate just how vulnerable we all are to unpredictable illnesses or diseases over which we have very little control. I'm lucky to be a fit and healthy young (?) man who works hard and plays hard. However, I don't know whether I'll wake up one day to having prostate cancer.

During the month of Movember I, along with other colleagues, grew moustaches and joined the thousands of Mo Bros who did the same. It raised awareness at Kingshott School among staff, parents and children.

To further my cause, I am participating in the London to Paris Cycle in August 2012.

So, I'm calling on all out there to support a very worthwhile charity in Prostate Cancer Research. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
