In  1997 my step father was diagnosed with motor neurone disease  He put up a good fight but  unfortunately he died in  2004 from this disease.

 MND is a progressive disease and takes away your own independence, affecting how you walk, eat, drink and breathe, although not all symptoms happen to everyone suffering from the disease. I am wanting to raise money to help with research in the hope 1 day there will be a cure.

In October i'll be doing the Votwo atlantic coast challenge , 3 marathons in 3 days down the north coast of Cornwall.

78 miles and about 7800 feet of climbing !

Training begins next week where i'm aiming to run sun/mon/tues/weds to really get used to the back to back runs and running on tired legs.

In august/september the long sunday runs will be 20 plus miles so i'll be doing a couple of marathons just for a change of scenery .
