<p class="MsoNormal">Many of us will have had personal experience of dementia affecting family or friends, so I probably don’t need to explain just how important the work done by the Alzheimer’s Society is.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This year I was lucky enough to get my club’s London Marathon place, and it seems a shame to run all that way and not try to raise a bit of money for this worthwhile cause.</p>
