London to Paris Cycle Challenge 2015 · 22 July 2015 to 26 July 2015 ·

Children and adults with Down’s syndrome are all unique individuals with their own personalities, family backgrounds and preferences that make them who they are. We aim to create the conditions that all people with Down’s syndrome need to live full and rewarding lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Justgiving page

We are raising funds for The Down's Syndrome Association, a charity we have a great affinity for, as Zack, my friend Brendan's son, has Down's Syndrome and the help and support they receive was, and still is, incredibly helpful for them at challenging times. The work the DSA do in raising awareness and understanding of the condition is so important in helping people with DS, their family and their friends live full and rewarding lives.

The challenge cycling from London to Paris, is one we are keen on to prove that we can still do these silly things at the ages of just under or just over 40.

We are the famous Buckden Lions, an older 6 a side team from Cambridgeshire, that can still do it.... sometimes.
