Ian Murray is raising money for Crew

If you don’t already know Crew, what you need to know is that they are a small Edinburgh based award winning and incredibly hard working charity that reduces drug and alcohol harm by training volunteer peers to engage the community and run professional recovery and training services for those effected by abuse..

For a tiny organisation their reach is incredible, tens of thousands of people make positive changes to their lives through contact with Crew and hundreds every year are supported out of crisis.

As you can imagine, fund raising is crucial to their very existence and events like this make an incredible difference.

Jeremy laid down the challenge last year, and along with some very strong persuasion from Iain Bell I couldn't resit!

So, on September the 17th along with a like minded group of keen supporters, we will put ourselves through a grueling 10K course of mud, fire and ice to raise funds enabling Crew to continue and expand essential harm reduction and education work in our local communities and schools.
