I live in the Snowdonia National Park and enjoy spending time in our remote and rugged landscape. My involvement with the Barmouth Walking Festival as a walk leader has further fueled my passion for the mountains and has also raised my awareness for the work of the volunteers of the Mountain Rescue, especially my local team South Snowdonia Search and Rescue Team.

I want to run the London Marathon to support a charity that works in my local area. I have always felt that Mountain Rescue Teams are under recognized at charity events so this was a perfect fit for me.
