Dwi'n mynd i redeg saith marathon mewn saith diwrnod o Gastell Caernarfon i lawr i Gastell Caerdydd. Mi fydda i'n dilyn y Lôn Las, sy'n rhan o'r Rhwydwaith Beicio Cenedlaethol. 

From Saturday 24th to Friday 30th July, I’m going to run seven marathons in seven days from Caernarfon Castle in the north west of Wales down to Cardiff Castle in the south east. I will be following the Lôn Las route, part of the UK cycle network; mostly cycle paths, and mountain tracks and B roads. 

Mae unrhyw un sydd wedi treulio dau funud hefo fi dros y pedwar mis diwethaf yn gwybod yn union pam dwi wedi gosod yr her wallgo yma i fi fy hun, pa elusen fydda i'n codi arian ati a pham! Ond, rhag ofn bod chi ddim, dyma fy stori: 

Why on earth am I doing this? No.1 mid-life crisis, No.2 I’m daft as a brush and No.3, and most importantly, to raise money for Latch -https://www.latchwales.org. 

Latch is a charity that supports the children, and their families, who are being treated by the Oncology Unit at the Children’s Hospital in Cardiff. They offer practical support to the parents at the most difficult of times and provide gifts and positive experiences for the children and their siblings. They help families like ours.

Between May 2016 and August 2019, our youngest son Macsen received treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. During this difficult and emotionally draining experience, Latch was amazing to Bethan and myself, Macsen and Math. 

The strength and determination of all the children receiving cancer treatment is simply incredible - they will be my inspiration to achieve this goal.
