Hi everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Wednesday August 19th I get the overnight sleeper train to Penzance and the following morning I cycle from Land's End to John O Groats in 16 days or less.The route is approximately 1000 miles. This means I will cyle 62.5 miles and more each day.  Putting it into context it is cycling the London to Brighton route plus 8 miles more every day for 16 days. Ouch!!

And if that wasn't enough, the trip is more or less unsupported. Each day I will pack up my home, bed, cooking equipment, tools, spare parts and pedal it all to the next spot I set up home and repeat the next day. If the bike breaks down I will have to fix it at the side of the road (parts permitting).

As part of the trip I have decided to support Unicef and their on going committment to protecting children worldwide. More specifically their campaign for providing medicines and vaccinations to remote parts of the world.

If I raise the £200 this will provide HIV screening tests fof 400 mothers to be. This basic screening test can help more babies being born free from HIV.
