Salam everyone - Thank you for visiting my page! 

This summer I will be volunteering with Selfless on their Medical Aid Elective programme as well as their ' A brush with kindness' programme in Sylhet, Bangladesh. Alongside a team of medical students, fellow dental students and qualified doctors, we aim to provide free healthcare services to those most in need. 

The ' A Brush with Kindness' programme focuses on improving the standards of oral health care in Bangladesh by educating and making the people aware of how important oral hygiene is towards their overall health. We will be providing free biodegradable toothbrushes to young children in local schools as well as demonstrate good and effective brushing techniques. Although these steps may be small, their effect will propogate the simple act of brushing and its importance from village to village - which ultimately is the goal.

Any generous contribution you make, will go towards funding these free health care camps, on site medicine, toothbrushes and baby bundle kits for pregnant women. Any donation will be kindly appreciated. None of these donations will go towards my flight expenses or my accomdation.
