At Children with Cancer UK we actively raise and invest money for vital specialist research to save the lives of every child with cancer and keep their family together. www.childrenwithcancer.org.uk

Story

A few years ago my sisters close friend suddenly lost her mum to cancer...

Shortly after, my best friend also suddenly lost her dear mum to cancer...

This was, of course, not the first time that I had heard about this deadly disease causing heartbreak to families, but it was the closest encounter I had ever experienced, and wow - what a silence it left within me.

After being brought face to face with something I never really realised I could be in arms distance of, I was hit with the overwhelming urge to do something...that something I recently decided would be to take the challenge of a lifetime.

I choose to climb Kilimanjaro for Children with Cancer UK this October because they are an incredible charity who seek to save and better the lives of children through expert research, excellent family support, raising awareness and campaigning for change.

In the UK, cancer is the most common cause of death in children aged 1-14 years. These children may never get the opportunity to develop properly, become an adult and experience the beauty of life due to being sick with Cancer.

But WE CAN make a difference!

My aim is to raise £4,000 by August 2015 and with your generosity that could realistically be as simple as a walk in the park.

Please help me to help them!!

Thank you for visiting my page and for your kind donations!
XOXO
