Hi my name is Ilaria,  I’m 5 years old and in Year 1.  I like running, swimming, Lego and Harry Potter.  This year I started going to ParkRun, doing 2km most sunday mornings and loved it. My mummy is training for a half marathon so I sometimes go out with her on my bike.  

My family run a charity - The Zikomo Trust- which helps children in a Malawi access education and healthcare. 

My mummy was born in Malawi and she did her first sponsored walk when she was my age and I asked if I could do the same. 

Today I completed my first ever Big Race - I wanted to do 3km but that was a walk and I wanted to run. So I took on the 6KM route and completed it in just under 47 minutes.

I’ll be doing more races this year and helping mummy train for her half marathon race in March.
