Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In April 2013 Imogen's mother, Sarah Kisberg, became one of the thousands of women each year who received the devastating breast cancer diagnosis. Through the year she had two mastectomies, a hysterectomy, six punishing rounds of chemotherapy and six weeks of radiotherapy. Sarah is a true fighter and inspiration to all women.

Imogen and Mollie will be running the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon on 8th October 2017 in aid of Princess Alexandra Hospital Breast Unit, as this particular charity is obviously very close to our hearts.

Over our lifetime many close family and friends have been affected one way or the other by cancer, especially breast cancer.

So together, we have decided to raise as much money as we can to help support others in their battle with breast cancer.

About the charity

We support patients, our people and visitors at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, St. Margaret’s Hospital and Herts and Essex Hospital. We provide support that is beyond the scope of the NHS, for example purchasing special equipment, improving facilities and investing in vital research.
