After getting passed the 20 week stage of our pregnancy with Jessica it never occurred to us not every parent gets to come home with their child. 

With only 4 weeks to go we had everything prepared for our little girl. Beautiful pink nursery, more clothes than mummy and daddy, nappies and toys to last months but on 4th Sept this year we heard the words no parents should ever hear. We can't hear her heartbeat. Our world came crashing down around us. We kept thinking no, they have got it wrong; we had hope throughout the delivery that they were wrong. But sadly they weren't and on 5th Sept at 4.37am she was born sleeping; our beautiful daughter Jessica Grace Kirby, 5lb 11oz.

We didn't have a clue what to do, do we hold her? Do we take photos? What should she wear? We didn't have anything for her.

But along with our amazing midwife, thank god for 4Louis, they provided everything we needed to create amazing memories for us and our daughter. I look at her hand and footprints everyday. The two teddies help me feel connected to our daughter. We can not thank you enough ❤️
